Family Worship is for You if…

-You are missing fellowship with like-minded believers.

-You do not currently have family worship but would like to participate in regular family worship with a loving and encouraging family.

What is Family Worship?

A Family that prays together stays together.

Family Worship is the time of day where we put away our burdens, come together, and  spend time in the presence of God.

Here we receive strength and endurance to take up our daily duties in order to do them more effectively.

We come together to learn from the word of God and from each other.

We pray for each other that we may be able to stand through the daily battles of life.

It is a time for encouragement and to draw closer to each other.

In the morning we commit our day to the Lord, and in the evening we thank him for taking us through the day. This is in harmony with the Bible as seen from the example of ancient prophets and the instruction of God himself. (See Daniel 6:10/Deut 11:18,19)

We recognize that in our broken world, many people are without family, longing for someone they can trust. They’re longing to be part of a family that will support them with prayers, and words of encouragement.

Where can they go?

For this very reason we have opened wide our arms to welcome the outcast into our family. The house of love has elastic walls.

Here is a short video briefly explaining the benefits of Family worship and how it will impact you and your children forever:

If you’re on mobile or PC, and we are unmuted, you need to “Join Audio.” There is a button on the bottom left of the screen that looks like this:

Click/tap that button, and then pick “computer audio” for pc or “device audio” for mobile.

*6 to mute and unmute

Do I have to have a Zoom account to join for Family Worship?

No zoom account is required. Just join via the link provided!

If I don't have access to a computer can I still attend?

Yes, you can! If you have a phone, you can join through the zoom app or you can call in.

If I don't have a computer OR smart phone how can I join?

You may join by telephone. Dial in the conference number, then enter the meeting ID number when prompted. Then press # when prompted to enter your participant ID.

Will other people be able to see me if I attend?

If your device has a camera, you have the option to join with video. If you do not wish to be seen, simply join via audio only.

I don't have a microphone or webcam. Does that mean I shouldn't come?

You can still join! Participation is encouraged but not required.

I live in a different timezone than PST. Should I try to attend both evening and morning worship?

We recognize that different time zones make it difficult for others to join. There is no pressure or obligation. We’d love for you to join whenever you’re able.

What if I join the notification group on Messenger and later decide I no longer want to receive notifications?

You may turn off notifications for the Messenger group or leave the group if you no longer wish to receive notifications.

Will I be able to speak and participate during family worship? Can I interact and share too?

Of course! We welcome interaction from our Zoom guests. Feel free to request a song, share your thoughts on a subject, and read with us!

Is it live?

It is indeed live! Wow. What a time to be alive!

Will it be recorded so that I can watch a replay?

We are not currently recording our family worship sessions, so replays will not be available.

What is the format?

We start with prayer. Then we have about 15 minutes of singing and 15 minutes of something else. This could be spiritual discussions, Bible readings, testimoneis, missionary reports, etc. We end with another word of prayer.

What are some examples of past Family worship formats you have done in the past?

We always start with prayer and a time of singing. It’s the latter half of our worship that varies.
What we’ve done in the past includes, but is not limited to:

Taking turns reading from a devotional or the Bible.

Give someone the opportunity to share what they’ve been learning in their devotions.

Share praises and testimonies.

Discuss a sermon we’ve heard.

How long is the worship?

It is normally 30 minutes total, except for Friday sundown and Saturday sundown, where it lasts for at least an hour.

Because I live outside of the USA will I be charged $$$ for calling in via telephone?

Call-in number for Audio is NOT toll free. You might be charged long distance fees depending on your telephone plan.
