1 For what intent are we, God’s righteous people, to study? Proverbs 15:28

2 What kind of people are looking for a sign or miracle to determine God’s plan for their lives? Matthew 16:4
Note: We don’t have to wait for signs and identifiers. We can talk to God every morning. He will respond as a friend to a friend. Doesn’t matter your perplexity and problems, because when we go to God, He can actually do something about it.

3 How does God reveal His will for my life if I shouldn’t rely on signs? Luke 16:29-31
Note: So many times during Christ’s ministry the children of Israel asked for signs. They have the law and the prophets. If they’re not willing to believe God’s Word, they won’t be persuaded though one rose from the grave.

4 How does God’s will for our lives and His law compare? Psalm 40:8
Note: The will of God is the law of God. His will is expressed in His Word. Every command, principle, and verse in the Scriptures, reveal to us God’s will for our lives. These principles govern our decisions.

5 What principles has God given us to govern our decision in choosing a life calling? Philippians 4:8

6 What’s another principle that should govern our choice of a life calling? 1 Thessalonians 4:3
Note: Does your life calling help with your sanctification? What is sanctification? To make holy. Develop the character of Christ. It doesn’t matter what calling, position, direction God is leading you. There is counsel in God’s Word regarding any lawful employment that you can find.

7 No matter what I do in life, who am I always to represent? 2 Corinthians 5:20
Note: Christ can and will be represented in all lawful callings. When we choose our occupation, we should make sure that it not only glorifies God, but also aids in the salvation of our fellow man.

8 There are many different kinds of callings in the world, but are all heading in the direction of everlasting life? Matthew 7:13-14
Note: Ex. Health work. There are many ways to the healing art, but only one way heaven approves. God doesn’t approve of some forms of healing, and so with callings also.

9 Should I keep my business and religion separate? Romans 12:11
Note: Your business can be a vehicle for serving the Lord. Business and religion are not separate. They are one. Whether you own a business as Jesus did, or working with another business, your business should be a vehicle for ministry.

10 Who should we ultimately look to for the results we want for our life? Deuteronomy 8:18 (Matthew 6:33)
