Main Idea: Many are not making very good progress in becoming who Christ has called them to be. God has given us many areas in which to learn of Him. In 3 John, we see that He wants us to prosper in our spiritual life, business life, and personal life. In today’s study, we will learn new ways in which we can develop learning habits daily.

 

1 Where can we find the expressed will of God for our lives? Psalm 40:8
Note: Where is God’s written will expressed? In the scriptures. Any prophet that has ever spoken under divine inspiration is revealing the will of God to man. “The will of God is expressed in the precepts of His holy law, and the principles of this law are the principles of heaven. The angels of heaven attain unto no higher knowledge than to know the will of God, and to do His will is the highest service that can engage their powers.” The law is God’s will. The willpower is a faculty of the mind.

2 How can I change my beliefs regarding a specific limiting identity? Romans 10:17
Note: If you want to change your beliefs that are limiting you from fulfilling your purpose in life, you need to change the words you listen to. There are only two beliefs we can have, Limiting beliefs and Liberating truths. Which words are you going to listen to? In the next 7 questions, we will be looking at the 7 schools we can study in to change our beliefs and strengthen the habit of new learnings daily.

3 What can we study and learn from daily to become who Christ has called us to be? John 17:17
Note: The first school of study is the study of scripture. Why was scripture given to us? How does it apply to us personally when finding out our life calling? these are some questions that will be answered when we delve into the study of scripture.

4 Who has left us a pattern in which we can follow and find our purpose in life? John 13:15
Note: The life of Christ is the best pattern for us to follow. A good trait to have is to find those who have the results you want; and Christ has those results. There is nothing you have faced that Christ didn’t have to face and all throughout His life you can daily learn in the scriptures how He overcame.

5 What is a subject that Daniel and his 3 friends understood that is essential through which we can see and learn of God’s goodness around us? Daniel 1:4, Daniel 1:17
Note: The study of science is one rarely heard of in the pulpits, but is just as important as the study of the life of Christ. Here we can learn and study many beautiful spiritual parallels scattered throughout our world and especially in nature.

6 What is one of the most powerful and life-transforming items that everyone has? Revelation 12:11
Note: Your testimony shows you know the path and can help others get out of the darkness. How many of us would never have come to Christ if it weren’t for going through affliction? Study how you could culture your testimony to help draw many to Christ. Think of how powerful and life-changing The bible is! Because in reality, the entire Bible is a book of testimonies. Mess becomes message, trial to triumph, victim to victor, test to testimony.

7 What is an effective and enjoyable practice we can all adopt to obtain the wisdom of God’s word? Colossians 3:16

8 What are encouraged to be steadfast in that is never in vain? Hebrews 5:14
Note: Let us study how we can be steadfast, unmovable, and always abounding in the work of the Lord. Learn the different ways you can effectively and efficiently spread the word of God.

9 How does the Bible explain to us the law of imparting? Luke 6:38
Note: The seventh school of study we can all learn of is the study of sharing or imparting. what you give is what you get back. Should we not study and learn how to impart the precious seeds of God’s truth to others that we may obtain the same in return?

10 What is an assurance that we have and that strengthens us in our new learnings to become who Christ has called us to be? 2 Corinthians 1:20
Note: Every “Thou shalt not,” whether in physical or moral law, contains or implies a promise. All of God’s biddings are enabling. If we can learn how to utilize God’s promises in our new learning, we can accelerate the process of finding who Christ has called us to be.
