Main Idea: How would you like to solve any problem by half of the time it normally takes you? As we look at our final study on the faculty of imagination, we will be going over 2 simple frameworks to help you by the grace of God to solve any perplexity you might face in life.

1 Where should any action plan to solving a problem begin? Proverbs 29:18
Note: This is the beginning to what we call, “The Intentional Planning process”. Here in the first step of the 3 step process, we can visualize the possibilities. This is where you can ask, “What could I do?

2 How would you arrange all your possibilities? 1 Corinthians 14:40
Note: In step two of the intentional planning process, we prioritize. This is where we Stack Rank and consider consequences. What is going to have the greater impact?

3 How can you bring your ideas or plans to fruition? Luke 14:26
Note: In the last step of the intentional planning process, we take action. We take our Plan and Commit to it by God’s grace. Here you can Schedule, create a Timeframe and add it to your calendar. The main objective is to take action.

4 What is the best way to come up with and imagine or visualize plans? Proverbs 11:14
Note: In this second procedure, we look at 4 Habits of Highly Effective Problem Solvers. In step one, we see that Coming up with solutions is best done in a group. The Lord even tells us that a good reward is the result of our labor together (Ecclesiastes 4:9).

5 What does the Lord promise us that includes making plans with a group? Matthew 18:20

6 What is a simple and effective action you can do take to establish your ideas? Habakkuk 2:2
Note: This 2nd effective habit of problem-solving is to always write your ideas down. It is 5 fold more effective and powerful when you write the possibilities down than if it just remains in your head. Create a Sloppy list of ideas.

7 What is one important factor in solving any problem? Matthew 7:7
Note: In this verse we see that questions invite revelation. This step entitles us to “Ask ‘Possibility Inviting Questions'”. Most leaders look for answers, but the best leaders look for questions. Stop looking for answers and start looking for questions. When coming up with ideas, You’re looking for A answer not THE answer. Instead of asking what IS the solution, ask what could be a solution?

8 When coming up with ideas to solve a problem, how should we approach any idea that seems extraordinary or impossible? Jeremiah 32:27
Note: In this final habit of problem-solving, Don’t be afraid to step into ‘crazy land’ while coming up with ideas. Often the best idea will be triggered by sharing a ‘crazy land’ idea. This is where your faith comes in. Do you believe that the Lord is able to do something out of the ordinary to help you? If God made the sun move back as an answer to prayer for Joshua, how much more will He do for us if we believe and move in faith? Remember that every idea is welcome.

9 At what point should we limit our ideas as to what the Lord can do in helping us solve a problem? Ephesians 3:20

10 Why is it important to not rule out any idea no matter how crazy it seems? 1 Corinthians 4:5
Note: Allow yourself to dream without filtering or pre judging ideas. Every idea is a good idea until we settle upon the best idea; so there’s no such thing as a bad idea, only good, better, and best. No idea is a bad idea. The only dumb idea is the idea that isn’t spoken.
